I originally bought the car for the drivetrane for one of my other 68 camaro projects but I decided it was a very nice candidate for a restoration.

I first prepped the car for a first class paint that consisted of a House of Kolor black base and then their Black Diamond middle coat which to me is actually a Kandy paint since it’s translucent, then I followed up with 5 coats of clear that was color sanded to perfection. The paint is awesome and near perfect. The beauty of this paint is that at 20 feet it looks black but as you get closer you can see the metallic gleaming in just the spots the sun is on and the rest looks black! This is something you have to see, it’s incredible. I will post a video so you can see what I mean.

I then replaced all rotors and brake pads, full tune-up including fuel filter, wiper blades, fan belt, air filter etc. Basically the car was restored back to new condition. You have to see the car to appreciate how clean and beautiful this car is.

The car has less then 62K miles and runs extremely well. With rebuild/restored cars I go far beyond what the average repair shop would do and I pay close attention to the details... most call me anal and a perfectionist!
